Movie Review "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"
A film adaptation of the novel is in production as of April 2011. The script has been written by Eric Roth, with Stephen Daldry directing.Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, Viola Davis, and Jeffrey Wright are attached to star, alongside 2010 Jeopardy! Kids Week winner Thomas Horn, 12, as Oskar Schell. The film was produced by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. and released on December 25, 2011.
